We at Bailieborough Swimming and Leisure Centre CLG hope that everyone is safe and well at this time.
We are absolutely thrilled that we have recently been successful in getting approval for grant funding for €122,500. We will continue to work with Cavan County Council and Government agencies to draw down this funding as soon as we can. In light of this good news, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all our public representatives who worked with us to achieve this funding.
We want to let the public know that the board are now working on plans to reopen the centre as soon as possible in early 2021 so please keep posted on this website and on social media for further developments.
Our General Manager, Mary McConnell, who has worked at the Leisure Centre since its opening has decided to take some personal time away from the leisure centre. The board will seek to find a replacement manager to fill this post. More information on this position here. In the meantime, we send Mary our best wishes and we look forward to seeing her back at the centre sometime in the future.
For your continued support and patience, we sincerely thank you.
We will update our website directly with further developments in the weeks ahead (http://bailieboroughleisurecentre.com/).
We hope that you and your families remain safe and healthy and we encourage you to continue to do your part by continuing to abide by HSE guidelines.
